Our staff is our greatest asset.  Each hand picked over many applicants.  Every person brings a gentle hand, soothing voice, and has demonstrated a natural ability to handle dogs and cats, in addition they all have a passion for animals.  You will find them working with our guests with a smile on their face.  Each person on our team, Loves what they do!

Russ & Tricia Epp

Grandpa  –  The go-to guy, he can always be found around the property somewhere,  he can fix anything and helps keep our parks and grounds looking green and keeps the path clear in the  winter.

Jennifer Christensen  -  I have worked with many animals all my life and have been working in the pet industry for 3 years, and plan to do so all my life.  I have extensive training in animal husbandry and have worked alongside Vets over the last few years to gain knowledge for my work.  I am a strong advocate for proper pet care and that is one of the many  reasons why I love working at Hy Country Kennels.  The Epp Family assures quality care for all pets that come and stay with us and I am happy to be a part of that team!  It’s great to see and meet so many different pets that all come from loving homes.  I currently live in Armstrong with my husband Rob, our Shetland Sheepdog Dante, our three cats, Rambo, Azshara, and Sorcia, our ferret, Tazfurious, and our horse,  Lexi.  Besides pets my other interests are horseback riding, writing, painting, traveling, swimming, and skating.

Megan Noonan  -  I don’t think I could ask for a better job being out in the fresh air natural light and working with animals.  I really enjoy the chance to interact with such a variety of breeds and sizes, and I feel a great sense of accomplishment when I see the same pets coming back time and time again because I know the owners are pleased with our commitment to their pets’ health and happiness during their stay here.  Aside from the animals, my other passions include: photography, reading, hiking/being outdoors, and travelling.  I have two dogs of my own – Lewis and Murphy - Pomeranian x Papillions.  I currently live in Vernon with my boyfriend Will.
