Hy Country Kennels & Pet Resort offers the finest in individual accommodations. For dogs, we have both indoor and outdoor kennels. We recently upgraded all HVAC systems to provide the finest quality air and heating systems for improved radiant heat. For cats we offer individual rooms, some with window seats and others with perches. We do not use small cages, our smallest rooms are 5x5x8. We have two master suites for families with multiple cats on a first come basis. HY Country has six exercise parks. All grassed and treed for natural shade. These areas and the entire 10 acres are secured by chain link fencing. The animals are exercised at least four times daily at no extra charge. We encourage socialized play and understand not all dogs have the right tools for being social. Cats are visited and cuddled twice a day.
We guarantee a healthy and sanitary environment for your pet. All kennels have music playing to provide guests with a calming effect. We have a separate building for small and older dogs. Medications prescribed for your animals will be administered carefully and as instructed.

Our clients bring their own pet’s food and bedding. A special toy and some treats are also good. Please note that new beds made of foam should be discouraged.
Our guests are encouraged to take full advantage of play, social and exercise times and to have a howling good time. |

Hy Country Kennels & Pet Resort now offers special rates for families which board more than one pet. Please contact us for these rates.
We recommend that you drop your dog off in the morning if possible as this will give your dog time to get adjusted to his new surroundings before bedtime.
Additional charges may apply for special needs as determined by Hy Country Kennels. For example: Medication/Supplements.
Our rates apply to number of “days” your pet(s) stay with us. This means you can drop your pet(s) off during our evening hours and you will not be billed for that day. The same applies for check-outs prior to 11 am, no charge for that day. (To qualify for both the free evening and free morning, your pets stay must be a minimum of 2 days).
Check-out is between 9 - 11 am or another day of boarding will be applied. |

Hours Of Business
We are open for pick-ups and drop-offs between the hours of (9:00 am to 11:00 am) and (4:00 pm to 6:00 pm) every day. We are closed to the public for December 25 and January 1. Should you require our services outside of these times, special arrangements can be requested and every effort will be made to accommodate your needs. |

Daycare Service
Our Daycare hours start at 8:00 am. Our daycare service is in its 10th year of operation and still going strong. We have an excellent group of “regulars” which visit between 3 and 5 days per week. Our daycare service consists of plenty of socializing, exercise and free time. Quiet times are encouraged and usually welcomed. Breed, personality, physical conditioning, activity level, likes and dislikes all play a role in designing the activities for each pets' daily schedule. All pets must be up to date with vaccinations and be altered. We limit the number of Daycare guests to 12 dogs per day. The dogs enjoy a heated/cooled indoor room for lounging and free access to a 1 acre park just for them, complete with a play house and climbing tires. During sever heat conditions we fire up the water cannon for them to play under as well as wading pools.
We offer Daycare Discount Cards which can be purchased at our office.
